Today I looked inside a small cooler that had been sitting in my husband's office for a couple of weeks (or more). What I found was some really nice, warm, moldy cheese. (I spared you the picture, and found a nice one instead).
Most of us can relate to this experience when cleaning the fridge and finding that forgotten bowl of some leftover from -say, 2 months ago -that now has a hairy black coating growing on top.
What most of us don't relate to, however, is going through our old cosmetics, creams and lotions and throwing them out. I bet every one of us has that drawer or cupboard in the bathroom with forgotten hair care products from last year's style. But, if you pulled out those products, they won't be growing anything hairy and black -why is that?
Preservatives and cosmetics is a topic I'm frequently asked about, so this month, I wrote an article to explain more. Check it out, then go clean out your fridge -and your bathroom cupboard too.
